This week the hole explorers return from their trip beyond our southern border, only to head across our northern one. That's right - we're talkin' Canada today folks. Come along as we look at some of their unhinged folklore. 

Prancer Came to Me Obese

This week, the Spelunkers grab their passports and head to Mexico in search of the folklore and culture of our neighbors to the south; focusing on the Chupacabra, chaneques, and (spookiest of all) chihuahuas. Viv gets spooked by noises in her house, Nat questions whether the Big Five Cryptids list should be revised, and Lane somehow manages to passably pronounce "Xoloitzcuintli".

Deranged is the Head That Wears the Crown

On this episode, the hole prodders examine mad kings throughout history. Lane and Nat try to understand their father's butchery of the English language and Viv ponders being a mad queen. Also: beavers. Real beavers not the other ones. Stop being crass. 

Don’t Eat the Forest Cake

This week, the Hole Crew makes a classic bad move by stepping within a ring of mushrooms surrounding the mystery hole, after which they're immediately transported into the realm of capricious Fae perverts. So, come along and learn everything you never wanted to know about faeries! Viv dissects the ethos of horse girls, Nathan dodges public indecency while trick-or-treating, and Lane speculates about the rites and rituals of Sewer Faeries. 

Your King is Just a Fat Guy, Not a Werewolf

The Spelunkers arrived for another dive into the hole, only to find the various beasties and weirdos within having a spooky movie night. In the spirit of a Universal monster double feature, the gang is going to look at the origins of the werewolf and the curse of King Tut's tomb. Viv considers a new lifestyle on the edge, Lane goes too hard with options for spiking Halloween candy, and Nathan brings the episode to a screeching halt when he can't remember the name of a guy with a weird eye. 

We’re Taking Back Friday the 13th

This week, the Hole Crew examines the origins and superstitions surrounding Friday the 13th and examine some of the most unfortunate people in history. Lane lays out some problematic views on goblins, Nathan nearly practices a superstition straight off a bridge while driving, and Viv again ponders what portentous meaning is assigned to the various body parts of small creatures left on her porch by a cheeky fox. 

The Bell Witch Did Nothing Wrong

Spooky Season has blown in and the ranks of Black Phillip swell. This week, the Hole Investigators celebrate witchery as they contemplate whether they would take the Left Hand Path, thumb their noses at prophecy, and revel in schadenfreude learning how the Bell Witch trolled a slaveowner literally to death.
